About Londzo

(CCC, MA)

Londzo Drury (she/her) is an artist, public speaker, and Certified Canadian Counsellor committed to intersectional social justice. After receiving her Bachelor's degree in Sociology from Glendon College, York University, she then spent over a decade in non-profit leadership positions advancing 2SLGBTQ+ rights and fighting against sexual violence.

On the stage, Londzo has left her mark internationally as a spoken word poet, participating in competitions like the Women Of the World Poetry Slam where she has shared moving stories of love, grief, queerness, and femme freedom.

Her early career has been foundational to Londzo’s approach to counselling and therapy, confirming her desire to support marginalized populations by acknowledging the systems which disempower and constrain us. Her passion for storytelling lends itself to the narrative counselling approach she has seen resonate with clients time and time again.

Currently residing in Tiohtià:ke/Montréal, Québec, Londzo is Master's degree holder in Counselling Psychology and a Mental Health Counsellor at Montréal Therapy Centre. In her free time she enjoys playing the piano and cuddling her two cats, Mikey and Spinelli, and her rescue dog, Freddy.
